Ice Cream Artists are needed, full time and part-time positions available. We are looking for hard working, reliable people with fantastic customer service. Previous experience as a crew member, team member, dessert artist, chill staff, retail customer representative, ice cream maker, or server may make you a good fit for this role. But no previous experience is mandatory Transportation and weekends availability are mandatory.

Job description: Manager

We are looking for a self motivated leaders to join our team to help run daily operation for both of our Raleigh locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and delegate responsibilities to all staff members to ensure objectives are met and excellent customer service is achieved.

  • Maintain proper health and safety regulations

  • Responsible for training and development of new employees; train and coach staff on guest services principles and practices

  • Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service; ensure all teammembers engage guests to understand the guest’s needs and exceed the guest’sexpectations

  • Maintain a positive work environment for employees and guests

  • Schedule team member’s shifts

  • Perform all Ice Cream Shift Leader job responsibilities as necessary:

    • Lead each shift by delegating duties and assigning tasks to team members

    • Manage time effectively and meet all job responsibilities

    • Perform end of day cash register reconciliation according to policy

  • Perform all Ice Cream Server job responsibilities as necessary:

    • Greet all customers in a friendly and welcoming manner

    • Retain a general knowledge of our ice cream flavors and ingredients

    • Fulfill customer orders for ice cream purchases

    • Greet all customers in friendly and welcoming manner

    • Process customer transactions on the cash register, including refunds, and discounts

    • Maintain a balanced cash drawer

    • Maintain clean work areas and have supplies stocked at all time

    • Maintain a clean work space, eliminate cross contamination

    • Present a neat personal appearance

    • Follow all company policies as outlined in company handbook

    • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Age: 21 years

  • Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment

  • Able to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math skills

  • Able to count money “backwards in the event of an error entering tender amount

  • Able to work flexible schedule and adjust to seasonal shifts

  • Able to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 40 pounds

  • Able to stand for up to 8 hours

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
